I'm in Garland on business, and to be frank, I HATE driving in dallas! When I flew in on 10/6, we had a crappy flight because my landing time coincided with an apparently nasty storm rolling through DFW and we had to refuel and wait out the storm in San Antonio.
After a pretty good amount of chop, we landed a couple hours late of the original time, and I was too exhausted and hungry so I dialed up uber eats to the hotel.
I was out of it, so I ordered 3 appetizers, the 1/2 doz Eddie garlic knots, mussels marinara, and bruschetta. I didn't really care for the Bruschetta, but the mussels and knots were on point, if maybe the sauce was a tad too salty.
Tonight I ordered proper and got Eddie's Seafood Special. I'm not normally impressed by portion size but I felt guilty knowing that with the few days I have left, half that bad boy is going to go to waste. The sauce is alfredo-based, but with a hint of tomato, and it's set just right so that the mussels, lobster, and shrimp simply pop. It's not heavy handed and it's a great base for seafood.
I'm an out-of-towner, but as far as i'm concerned, this is one of the better seafood pasta dishes I've had.
The cannolo was above average, but unfortunately just not the best I've ever had. But hey, half the adventure is just trying food! -

My mother used to enjoy this restaurant, and so did I. I came back with my sisters to see if it'd changed.
We were in the neighborhood and thought to stop by for some nostalgic Italian cooking, being Italian ourselves.
They were bought out last summer by a new owner, and that's when Napoli's fell from grace. Upon entering, our table was sticky and the ceiling was leaking, the floor had tiles that were ripped from the ground, leaving it uneven. Not to mention the seat next to us, which was ripped and patchily repaired with duck tape! I was cautious from that point on of what to order. Rule one for me: don't order seafood from a restaurant that's falling apart.
The rolls at our table were stale as well. It was quite sad. But not as sad as the fact that my ice tea tasted of water and had an oily sheen on the surface. I don't know how someone can botch tea, much less tea from a large pre-made jug, but they did!
As for the food... Everything was swimming in a repulsive pool of oil. Boiling. Oil. They try to drown the food in sauce to hide the problems, but no amount of sauce could fix this.
My sister, who is a vegetarian, ordered the stuffed peppers. Lo and behold, it had seafood in it! Crab, to be exact. The crab meat smelled of something rotten and was black. I thought it was beef at first and not crab, but it had that smell..The smell seafood takes on when it has probably seen better days. I cautioned her not to eat it and she abandoned the dish, thankfully. After tasting my dish, which was ALSO swimming in oil, my stomach began to turn. I decided that I couldn't eat another bite and was sullen, both because it's price was not even worth the meal, and because my appetite had been ruined. My other sister ate her pasta, claiming it was perfectly fine, only to wake up sobbing that night from a wretched stomach ache.
This place has really gone downhill, and it's saddening. It held so many great memories, and has now been spoiled by oily dishes, watered down tea, and bland chicken.
I would not recommend this restaurant, as much as it pains me to say. I hope they can turn it around before they really suffer.

Fantastic pizza! This place oozes warmth which will hit you as soon as you walk in as will the delicious smell of baking pizza.
Napoli's has fantastic pizza AND they deliver or at least they did a few years ago. I have not found to many pizza places in Garland that impressed me but Napoli's really does.
They offer so many different topping and I think I have had most of them. Of all the toppings, I like their bacon pizza the best. It is incredible. They use real Bacon. If there is one thing I do not like, it is when pizza places do not use REAL meat for their toppings and substitute it with the "pretend" bacon or sausage. No worries here! They KNOW how to make pizza. A bacon pizza with a nice cold Doctor Pepper hits the spot.
If you are feeling bold..get an everything Pie. I came here once with three others and we proceeded to do just that. It was honestly just a tad to much! But we had got carried away. Honestly I wouldn't advise that. But pick a topping and run with it. Their all good!
I do wish they served coffee there. Maybe they do now but they did not as of the last time I went there but that was awhile ago. Apparently many places in Texas do not. What do I know? I am from New England!
We used to also call then for delivery. The staff was always warm and friendly and I cannot say enough about them. I also can't remember one time the pizza wasn't great.
I have not lived here in awhile but if and when I'm back in town I'll be back. I still miss their pizza..yum! -

I used to eat here all the time as a kid when visiting my grandma down the street. So, it has been along time since I have been. It was good then, not so much now. Seems they have been bought out because i remember it as Napolis. Not Eddie's Napolis. Anyways, I got the chicken piccata to which the chicken was unseasoned. I mean not even salt or pepper. Not even seared! Just white baked chicken. Tasted nothing but lemon juice and oil. My boyfriend got the Chicken marsala which looked absolutely disgusting and again just sat in oil. The garlic knots didn't even taste of garlic! It was definitely not worth the $23 i paid. I am sad to see a place i loved as a kid go down hill.
Definitely would not recommend.
